About Critter Castle

Our story

This all started when a group of people came together over their love of the D&D show, Critical Role. As part of the Critter community we aim to create a fun and inclusive space for fantasy lovers across the UK (and beyond!).

There have been seven Critter Castle events since 2019, the last one taking place in February 2026.

Though we started from a love of Critical Role, you don't have to be a fan to come along. All cosplays, games and genres are welcome.

No business-folk here!

We are not a business nor any kind of money-making enterprise. We're just a group of nerds with a flare for organisation!

We do this in our spare time because we just love hanging out in castles with other nerds and fantasy-loving folk.

Staying up to date

The best way to interact with the current community and castle-goers is through our discord server. It is a closed server (meaning you need an invite to join). We do this so that we can ensure it is a safe space for everyone and only contains people who are genuinely interested in being in the community or going to an event. If you'd like to join us there, pop us a message below.

We also have an Instagram (critter_castle_dnd) and Facebook page (Critter Castle) where updates are posted too.

If you've signed up to an event or added your name to an expression of interest survey you'll also receive updates directly via email.
